“ This is a real gem for those who like decent Chongqing styled noodles. The house rice noodle is very tasty if you don’t know what yo order. I tried its green pepper with pork dry noodle and it was excellent. It’s just as good if not better than the best ones I had back in California. The noodles were cooked just right and the flavor of the green pepper and pork was on point. The only minor issues were that there were a bit too much pork and the strips are a bit too big. The best part, you can pick your own spiciness level, unlike in Chongqing where there’s only one level of spiciness: burning spicy. The chef recommended the pork intestine noodles, which I will definitely try on my next visit. The service was friendly and attentive. The sitting area and its ambience reminded me of tiny noodle shops in China, but much cleaner. Highly recommended. ”
“ The green pepper double cooked pork dry noodle was amazing! Love the fragrance in the dish. Every single noodle dish comes with unique taste! Definitely will come again ”
“ I had the impression that I had reviewed this restaurant in the past, but it turns out I hadn’t. Since it’s one of your favorite and best restaurants in Honolulu, I felt compelled to review it again. We’ve been visiting this place since its opening, and the food has never failed to impress us. It’s incredibly delicious and authentic. We make sure to stop by whenever we visit Hawaii. ”
“ Very good taste with flexible ingredient and not too much MSG. Highly recommend. However, don’t think it’s worth waiting for more than 30min. It’s a super small Shop. Their waiting system is something to be desired - an online waiting room would be super helpful. ”
“ This is the ideal authentic mapo tofu I've had so far. Great balance of flavors from its sweetness, distinct soybean paste, the mala spice and the gravy consistency. With that combination it is addicting! They rate the spicyness level 4 stars and i have to agree that its very spicy, lot of fresh chilis were used in here. I recommend adding ground pork with it to add extra protein! For under 20 is a good deal especially in Hawai'i and it is quite filling! Ordering was very easy, Scan QR, order on the site and it comes in very quick! Warning though! Seating is very limited its a small cute shop. With my family I tried their dishes and they were pretty authentic stir fries. the pork & pepper dish is seasoned well and the portion is huge. The soup dishes has a nice fragrance and balance flavors. Our server was great! She helped looked through the menu and answered every question we had and was very patient with us. ”
“ Order by app. Space is small, like a neighborhood vibe. Service is friendly and accommodating. Order these and thank me later: 1. Dry Double Cooked Pork (flat noodles or rice) 2. Wu Wei Spicy Beef Noodle (the beef!) 3. Booed Fish with Pickled Cabbage (broth) 4. Shredded Pork Green Pepper 5. Any noodle soup ”
“ 2025 edit: Still loving this place and made it the first stop in this stay for 5 days. Amazing as always. ———————————— 2023 edit: Was in Waikiki for only 3 days. But been to this noodle place twice!! Can’t recommend more. ——————- Great service. Good amount of food selections. Good food quality. Chili oil was supper spicy. I kept coming back every time I came to visit Honolulu. Best noodle house in town. ”
“ Surprisingly really good coming from living near San Gabriel Valley, CA. Very generous portions with lots of flavor. The seating was pretty limited but I'd definitely go back if I was craving noodles. The price was also very reasonable. ”
